First Cheer Competition

Today was a super hectic day. It was the first competition of the season and the first time I fully understood how crazy competitions are going to be for me now. I am used to just performing for one team but this year I perform on two teams and coach two teams. This meant the entire day I was running back and fourth from the stage to the warm up room with like 2 minutes to catch my breath. Sadly, neither of the teams I was performing with did very good but both the teams I coach seemed to do pretty good and all the kids were happy. I think today reflected learning outcome because it reminded me about how collaborative a team has to be to be successful as well as collaborating with the assistant coaches to make sure our teams had someone even when somebody was off with another team.
