Bootcamps

This summer my cheer gym has decided to make the athletes for workout bootcamps to help us get more in shape for the season. I went into the first one thinking this can't be too bad I've done cheer conditioning for years, well I was WRONG. This was easily one of the hardest workouts  I have ever done. We started with a mile run, stretched, then proceeded to do HIIT training stations for around an hour and a half. We had three floors each with about 8 stations. We had to do each station for a set amount of time then go straight to the next. The only thing that got me through it was being able to partner up so you had someone to encourage each other the whole time. After, I felt super accomplished though and was honestly kind off excited for the next one. This reflected learning outcome 2 because I took on a new challenge and developed more fitness skills in the process.
